Psychotherapy
Welcome! I work with a variety of issues including complex trauma, relational trauma, attachment patterns, internalized self-concept, and self-exploration.
I provide a compassionate, warm, and calming environment where you can feel comfortable exploring your deepest concerns and working through complex emotions. My approach is grounded in Psychodynamic Therapy with a focus on relational trauma and attachment patterns. I specialize in helping individuals uncover and understand unconscious patterns, so they can begin to reorganize their experiences and lead to a more integrated self experience.
I work with a variety of integrated trauma-informed techniques, including psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Relational Trauma Repair allowing us to address deep-rooted emotional wounds and repeating patterns while fostering healing and growth.
In my work with couples, I aim to support healing, repair and fostering forgiveness, communication and re-connection through an emotionally safe and reparative approach with Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT),
With over 20 years of experience in education, working with families and young children, I bring significant life experience to my practice. Through personal experiences, I understand the complexities of childhood trauma and its long-term impact on self-identity and relationships. My personal and professional journey gives me a unique ability to deeply relate to the struggles of those working through trauma and familial patterns.
I offer a safe space to explore your internal world. In our work we aim to emotionally organize, accept and integrate experiences, creating self compassion, acceptance and empowerment. Together, we can work to increase emotional connection, promote self-compassion, and empower you to create positive changes that feel aligned with your sense of self today. I have specialized training in men’s trauma and am passionate about helping men address emotional pain, especially in relation to past experiences.
In my free time I love to read, be in nature, play with my dog and spend time with two amazing teenage daughters. My experience as a solo parent further shapes my understanding of family dynamics and emotional resilience!
If this resonates with you, your experience and your personal growth goals, I would be honoured to walk with you on your journey.
I look forward to connecting soon!

What is Psychodynamic Psychotherapy?
Understanding & Nourishing the Relationship With & To Your Self
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a deep, insight-oriented approach that helps individuals explore the unconscious patterns and early life experiences shaping their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Rooted in the understanding that our past influences our present, this therapy supports long-term change by fostering self-awareness, emotional growth, and a more authentic connection to oneself and others. It’s a collaborative process that unfolds over time, creating space for meaningful reflection, healing, and transformation.
